Who we are
CPE Families First is a nonprofit created by parents and caregivers who believe that when families are supported, children thrive. We work alongside College Place Elementary to provide direct financial assistance, build community through enrichment events, and ensure every family feels supported, connected, and cared for.
We are an entirely volunteer run organization whose board members have either children or work at College Place Elementary, and are committed to the care and success of our families.
What we do
CPE Families First provides emergency financial assistance to families who are are close to eviction, having their utilities shut off, need food to feed their families, etc.. We provide financial assistance to a family to get them through the month. We mail rental assistance directly to the landlords, pay the utilities directly online, and purchase grocery gift cards. Money never goes directly to the family as a check or cash.
